Seminar on horse husbandry and management with particular focus on practical skills such as applying: stable bandages, rugs, tail bandages, head collars, and picking up fore and hind feet.
Approaching and safely handling horses
Seminar on colic, lameness, and stud medicine with vet Jonathan Steel.
Opportunity to look at mare scans alongside an experienced equine vet.
Practice moving mares into stocks and handling during scanning.
Seminar on the equine breeding cycle, methods of service and young stock management.
The course in run in conjunction with Jonathan Steel at Hafren Vets who has a special interest in equine reproduction.
